About the Markets and Housing Network
Welcome to Markets and Housing (Subgroup of the Markets and Commissioning Network)
In March 2021, phase one of a new approach to regional housing was launched undertaken to consider the development of the housing market for all housing. The plan is that this will be considered through a health, public health, social care, housing and community lens. We will continue to develop this through 2021/22. The aim is that we will in future develop more suitable accommodation for people who need care and support to ensure people can live independently for longer in the community. We will work with planners to develop future housing for our population.
